This hotel is a hidden gem tucked away in a calm and beautiful location. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They even offered to pick us up from the nearby station, ensuring our convenience. The rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a cozy atmosphere with traditional Japanese decor. We were delighted to find that our room had a small balcony with a stunning view of the mountains. The attention to detail and the service provided by the staff truly made us feel welcome and valued guests.
No major complaints, everything was more than satisfactory.

Enjoyed my Easter weekend at a traditional Ryokan. The owners were incredibly welcoming and accommodating, offering a delicious vegetarian meal and sharing useful information about the surrounding area. The onsen was an amazing experience and the perfect way to relax in the quiet countryside. I appreciated the option to choose my breakfast time and the convenience of a ride to the nearby station for exploring the rest of Hakone.
The location was a bit far from the train station, but the owners were kind enough to offer a pick-up and drop-off service. There aren't many restaurants nearby, so it's suggested to order meals at the hotel.

The natural baths were very nice and relaxing, a great experience. the staff was really friendly and kind, they helped us with transportation to and from the hotel. the location was beautiful, in a scenic area with stunning views. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the surroundings and the chance to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city. the traditional Japanese room was very cozy and comfortable, and it was an interesting cultural experience to spend the night on the tatami.
The dinner and breakfast options were limited and not very satisfying, especially during our Easter stay. We were disappointed with the lack of variety and quantity of food offered, especially for the price we paid.

Very gracious owners, accommodating vegetarian meal, fun sleeping on tatami, nice onsen, ride to cable car station, English-speaking staff.
No issues.
